I purchased this item to take the place of a portable induction burner that failed. This is a traditional electric burner so I don’t need to worry about using a special pan. Also I’m able to select the power level, (wattage) and temperature, insuring I don’t overload circuits or if camping your power source. The electronic control pad can’t get wet so it’s imperative you don’t over heat or allow the contents to boil over damaging your controls. Other than that, it’s more quiet than the induction burner and gets the job done. It was also affordable!

I use this outside on my patio when I want to cook food that has a strong smell like onions. Works great. Heat up fast.

I bought a cheaper 120v before and though it worked it was slow. This one is quicker. Nice digital control. Larger surface for more stable cooking. Nice flat surface for cleaning. For a 120v 2200w stove I’m impressed.

I use this to cook different oils in the backyard. This is easy to clean and has a very flat surface. That keeps pots from wobbling or sliding off the burner. It is easy to use and the functions are laid out in a user friendly way. It heats up really quickly. And has hot indicator light.

We like to go RVing many times a year, and from experience knew it was a good idea to have a electric stove top for a backup to the gas stove due to the unexpected running out of the propane while camping. When I saw this VBGK Electric Cooktop,2400W Electric Stove Top, I knew I wanted to try it out. This unit is a really nice looking and quality feeling piece of kitchen-ware! It fit perfectly over the top of our RV propane stove top and the cord was just long enough to reach the plug-in. I tried it out, and all the features worked perfectly, it got nice and red hot quickly. If there was one con, I wish they would have implemented a warning red light to let you know the top is "HOT", like my home oven has. As it is, this unit could easily look cold, but still be hot enough to burn you good. All in all, this is a very nice addition to any kitchen, we love it!

This stove top is FANCY! The top is so sleek and visually appealing, I can't even get over it. We're using this in a compact kitchen for a smaller apartment and it's absolutely perfect. It can be used on a counter top with the built in feet or can be installed into the counter. Luckily the displayed size is pinpoint accurate - they measured it to the hundredth of an inch!As for cooking on this it was very nice! It uses touchscreen buttons and a physical dial for temp settings that are all very responsive. It heats up pretty quickly and gets almost as hot as our gas stove top which is fantastic! After cooking it takes about 5 to 10 minutes to cool back down to a safe to touch temperature, which is pretty fast for electric.After using it for a few days I can't honestly find anything I don't like about it. If you're in need of an electric cook top I would highly recommend this one.
